Leia's Treats will be participating in the National Day of Action in Solidarity with Minnesota and therefore closed on Friday, January 30, 2026. This website will be turned off for the entire day. I encourage everyone to participate however you can (see below and my stories!) and to not spend any money UNLESS you are shopping small! We want ICE OUT of Minnesota! We want ICE OUT OF EVERYWHERE! Thru an economic blackout we hurt the corporations and billionaires where it hurts them most, their pockets. Today won't fix everything, but small steps by many people add up to big steps in the right direction. January 31st - Protest in whatever ways you can! Demand ICE OUT of everywhere! Whether you are calling your reps, sharing information on social media, wearing a pin or jewelry (I love wearing my protest bracelets from @casey_julia_designs and @themineralmaven!), having tough conversations, volunteering in your local community, donating, protesting in person, or anything in-between, do whatever you can. Activism and protest looks different for everyone. What's important is following thru and then continuing to act. Please don't make this a one day thing. Find ways you can commit to following thru on. One of the easiest, quickest, and most important things you can do is Call Your Reps! Get the 5Calls app and it will tell you who to call and even give you a script. This takes about 5 minutes of your day to help make a difference. Together, we can change this. Oh and🖕🏻🧊
